Lenore Tuffy Kiefer

Lenore "Tuffy" Kiefer was born January 30, 1925. Her Lord and Savior took her home to Heaven to be with her long-departed husband, Louie, on Monday, October 21, 2019, just three days shy of the 35th anniversary of his death on October 24, 1984. She was 94 years old. Her life is celebrated by all those who knew her; rather than mourn her earthly absence, they rejoice in her heavenly presence. She had survived her five siblings, her dear husband, and all of her oldest friends. There is a reunion in Heaven, and she is surely the life of the party, as ever she was on earth. She was a beacon of joy, reflecting God's love to each person she met. She never missed an opportunity to share her love for the Lord. She walked with Jesus daily, read the Bible in its entirety multiple times, and led a study group at her church. There was never a problem too big or small that she didn't think prayer could solve; she was a prayer warrior. Her body became tired near the end of her life, but her faith never did. She was steadfastly loyal to her Lord, her family, and her friends until the very end. Tuffy is survived by her three children, Dan, Trudy, and Denny, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed but never forgotten. She is being cremated, and there will be a memorial for her in January of next year.
