I regret that we didn't get to spend as much time together as I had hoped. "I wish I had..." statements abound. Time goes so quickly in this world, and we miss out on Family and spending time with them. I apologize for the error I made with you. But in the New World of Jehovah, we have an opportunity to make all that right. I'm eager to see you healthy, without any more discomfort or issues with your arms or legs. We'll sprint for one another and embrace. Sleep till Jehovah wakes you up in the meantime.

Leisha Flash, whom we affectionately know as Lisa, was born to Ruthlyn Flash on Staten Island, NY, on October 18, 1978. She was the younger sister to the wonderful Nicol Flash. Lisa graduated eighth grade from Notre Dame Academy and then went on to Curtis High School, both on Staten Island. Though Lisa had muscular dystrophy, that did not stop her from succeeding in life. At Curtis, Lisa was a part of their esteemed nursing program. She graduated from Curtis with her Certified Nursing Assistant License. Throughout her life, Lisa has called Staten Island her home and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In Florida, she worked as an after-school counselor and babysitter. When Lisa returned to New York, she started school as a Medical Assistant. Lisa left this life on August 26, 2023, from complications after cardiac arrest. Leisha joins her mother, Ruthlyn Flash, sister Nicol Flash, grandparents, Linnett Flash and Talman Flash, aunts Norma Spence, Carolyn Flash-Simon, and Angela Flash. Leisha is survived by two uncles, Derrick, and Everald Flash; cousins Nigel, Sheldon, Victoria, Rahsann, Andrew, Margaret, Aysha, Tabari, Daniel, Tamira, and Taijh; and many extended family members. Lisa will be missed by her family and friends. We are all saddened by her passing, but we are resolved that she is in a better place, peaceful and pain-free. And one day, we will all meet again.
