Lee Lindvall
December 14th, 1967 - August 2nd, 2023
December 14th, 1967 - August 2nd, 2023
Lee Lindvall passed away unexpectedly on the morning of August 2nd, 2023, while taking care of his father in Albany, Oregon. He was born on December 14, 1967, in Watsonville, California, to Stephen Lindvall and Carol (Eveland) Lindvall. Lee is survived by his partner, Tami; Tami’s son Chris (little man); his son, Aaron; his father, Stephen; his stepmother, Dorothy; his sister, Lisa; and many other friends and family members.
Growing up with his family, he lived in Jamaica, Saudi Arabia, Louisiana, and Texas. He eventually settled down in Salinas, California, in 1990, and had his son Aaron with his then-wife, Sharon, in October 1996. His primary work in Salinas was as a draftsman at Valley Fabrication. Later in life, Lee purchased a home in October 2021 in Visalia and enjoyed life with his sweetheart Tami.
In his work and hobbies, Lee was creative, intelligent, and always aimed to do things "the right way." He enjoyed finding innovative engineering solutions when designing farming equipment and was highly skilled in his profession. He also cherished woodworking as both a hobby and a profession, striving for perfection in every finished product. If his creation had a flaw, he would be the first to point it out. He passed on his creativity to his son, Aaron, along with his love for gardening, fish keeping, and woodworking. He learned to love cooking and often surprised Tami with favorite dishes. They also enjoyed traveling, a little snow skiing, and going to movies.
Lee's demeanor towards others could be best described as laid-back and softhearted. He was incredibly generous, often giving away money and possessions because he delighted in seeing people enjoy themselves. With strangers, he was friendly and inclusive. Lee met the neighbors in Visalia on the first day and made fast friends with them easily! Lee was a kind and gentle father who delighted in spoiling his son with fireworks, video games, outings to restaurants and much more. As Tami’s partner he spoiled her with devotion, kindness, love, and always seeing to meet the family’s needs. As Tami puts it “he wooed me with style and swept me off my feet from the first day we met!”.
There are only a few people we have in our lives that really do put others first. This seemed to be Lee’s philosophy in life and he walked this path always. He is a cherished soul and will be deeply missed by all that were lucky enough to have met him!
