Larry was my hero for a lot of different reasons. I'll just tell you about one thing..... I had a lot of past issues in my life a lot of baggage that I was blaming myself for and Larry knew that. One day at Dak's house while we were having a few beers (Larry always found the greatest beers I never heard of) with regard to the baggage I was carrying around with me all the time, he called them bricks....he said "Man, just put those bricks down and walk away! You don't need to carry them around anymore!" "Just walk away!" Those words are always with me. I love Larry, he was my friend!

Tere, thinking of you. We only met for one wonderful week in Cabo when you were with Brenda & Tom. But have special memories of you both. One when all 10 of us crawled in the van after dinner, Lary in the front seat. When the taxi driver asked Where to? He said "your house!". Another at the beach party. You two were picked for the couples game. When they asked how long you'd known each other he said "since last night". We loved the stories he told of how you met. I'm happy you had a lifetime of Love with the Love of your life.

My memories of uncle Lary are always of fun, quick wit and love. Since the day I met him, I was about 5 years old, he put me on his shoulders and carried me around. I was the first niece. Then we came to the states and lived at his house for a while and it was always an adventure. In my teens he was there, because of him I was got a scholarship to go to college because he guided me and literally held my hand to the college to go talk to the counselor. As an adult, he was my buddy and I was his Keke...I will miss his smile and silliness always! I love you uncle Lary...Salud...

I was driving on a long trip to Utah with Lary and Tere. It was late, but Lary wanted to keep talking with Tere. He was recalling how nice some people on their trip were. He kept giving specific examples of what they did and how appreciative he feels for them. The mood in the truck just felt nice, and I wished that feeling in my future.
