Kenneth P Weatherwax

Kenneth Weatherwax Kenneth (Ken) Paul Weatherwax, 83 passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 in Dallas, TX. Ken was born January 3, 1937 in New Orleans, LA to Olustee Kenneth and Elizabeth (Wesley) Weatherwax. He attended GA Tech and graduated from University of Penn and earned his MBA from the Wharton School of Finance. In 1968 he married the love of his life Texie (Scott) Weatherwax and together raised three sons, Bill, Kip and Scott He opened his firm, Weatherwax & Associates, CPAs in 1984 and worked there until his retirement. Ken had a passion for golf and sports. He enjoyed socializing and telling the most amazing stories. He was kind and loving, living a life of service; coaching, teaching and touched the lives of everyone he knew. Spending all his life in Atlanta, GA the need arose, due to Alzheimer's, to move to Dallas four years ago to be close to his immediate family. Ken had planned upon his death to have a huge celebration of life party with his extended family and friends from his years in Atlanta. Given the current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 we will be holding a virtual memorial via mykeeper.com/profile/KennethWeatherwax for family and friends to share photos, memories and stories of his life. Ken was preceded in death by his parents and eldest son Bill and is survived by his wife Texie, sons Kip and Scott and granddaughters Chloe, Dani and Taylor.
