“Is it true?”
“I can’t believe it!”
“I am shocked!”
“What happened?”
These were some of the initial reactions to the news of your passing. Your unexpected death has left us with great sadness, disappointment and disbelief. You left suddenly, and without the opportunity for your loved ones to say goodbye. However, we are comforted because you have enriched our lives with love, laughter, conversations and kindness. Your faith in God has stood the test and you have been an example to us all.
Kendra, you were welcomed into the world in Georgetown, Guyana, by your parents Avril and Dorman Moses, in 1971, and there you spent your formative years at Sacred Heart Primary School. You moved to Melanie Damishana in 1979, and attended Company Road Primary School in Buxton, and Annandale Secondary School before going on to become a teacher and studying for a degree at the University of Guyana. You travelled and lived in Trinidad and Tobago and then in London, England where you studied at the International Bible Institute of London and worked at London Underground. Your journeys continued when you joined your husband Nigel in the USA, where you lived in Brooklyn, New York, and resumed your studies and worked in education. There you were blessed with a wonderful son Matthew. Now you have made your biggest and final move - you have gone to your heavenly home. You have left for an even better place and have moved in with your Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
‘If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.’ We are grateful to have shared your life as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, cousin, in-law, niece, friend, colleague and a believer. We are consoled that you have joined your father, your grandparents and the many friends and relatives who are overjoyed to see you in Glory.
Rest in eternal peace Kendra Ann London, until we meet again.

Kendra and I met when we went to bibleschool in London together. It was easy to become friends with Kendra as she was so secure in her self and loving towards others. We kept contact over the years,Kendra was always very good at keeping contact even though we live in two different countries. What I learned from Kendra is that whatever difficulty you face in life you always speak positive. She was a strong woman with a strong faith. She often spoke about Mathew and I remember how she said at one point that he loved to go to church and worship and how happy it made her to see that. I will always remember Kendra.

Only a moment Kendra stayed with us, what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts. So, though you have love been taken from us, we will never stop loving ❤ you. We will continue to carry that love in our hearts. The shock of knowing reading on my phone "she is gone" still rings in my mind. But knowing that you are in glory I am encouraged to live a life surrendered to God. Your unselfishness was evident in throughout your life my niece. May God strength Nigel, Matthew, Sister Avril and the rest of the family. What shall separate us from the love of God? Nothing so we continue to give God all the glory , honour and praise. I finally have come to grips that you are truly gone. You were a sister, friend, confidant and colleague to me.As I mentioned on my Facebook page that you were responsible for me attending the University of Guyana .The first gift from the Golden Grove Baptist Church to me was because of you taking me there to teach dance to the Youth Group. Our long conversations via telephone or my visit to your home on Pitkin Avenue when I was on vacation will always be in my memory. You also encouraged me in my walk with the Lord. You were a peaceful person who never let anyone or anything upset you. Someone who thought about others first and self last. Our last communication was, The help you need is on the way! Those morning devotions. You responded ,Amen on Friday June 18. I remembered our School days and days at work. Gone too soon but I know that you are in the arms of Jesus. Matthew 5:4 says Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. As I mourn your sudden passing along with your husband, son, mother, siblings, extended family, Church members, in laws, other relatives and friends I pray that we all allow the God of all comfort to comfort us at this time of bereavement.

In loving memory of my niece Kendra. She was the daughter of my oldest brother. She made sure to always keep in touch with her family here in Suriname. When she spoke to us , she always used the phrase "I'm Telling You ". It really hurts to see her gone so soon. .She will be missed by all. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
