Happy Heavenly Birthday to Kay. Our backyards joined together in Edina. There was a permanent path through the honeysuckle bushes. Swimming lessons on cold summer mornings at Lake Calhoun. Birthday parties. Brownies and Girl Scouts. Sitting on the wall in her backyard watching the chipmunks run around. Sleepovers. The camels at Southdale. So many memories of an ideal childhood. We moved away the summer after 8th grade. Kay and Cynthia Clayton took me downtown to the SkyView room for lunch and to a movie. Lots of great childhood memories with Kay. So very sorry to learn of her passing.

Kay was an excellent Bible study leader for many wonderful years to a group of ladies who loved her dearly. We were like a little family, sharing prayer requests and praises. We shared delicious meals together. We shared hard times and fun times and dug into the Word with the help of the Holy Spirit and Kay's deep knowledge of the Bible and instruction. She is sorely missed. She was a wonderful friend and sister in the Lord.

We will always gain inspiration as we lovingly remember Kay. She was so genuine, always living her life with purpose. Her enjoyment of life and her quick humor were a large part of her charm. We will all miss her greatly, but her Christ-like example will remain ever before us
