Kathlene Minyard, 62

Passed away on 4/16/2026 in Camden AR

Daughter to Bill and Rosane McCaughey

Kathlene lived a full and diverse life, raising two children, Austin and Lucas Black, alongside her Husband Robby Minyard. Born and Raised in Bellevue Washington, she attended Pacific Lutheran University graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. Starting what would become a nearly 30 year career impacting the lives of the community around. She dedicated her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. She made it her mission to improve the lives of those around her, often at her own expense. A rock in the storm for many during trials and tribulations.

Kathlene was vibrant, passionate and immensely loving. We will miss her greatly. She is survived by her husband, children, sister and soon to be 2 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Kathlenes legacy by taking the time to connect with your family and not only share your love for each other, but create shared memories to one day look back on. This, we believe, would be the best tribute to her extraordinary life.

The family is taking this time to come together and mourn this loss. Future memorial plans will be shared when available. If you would like to share your memories of the life and love of Kathlene, please do so in the “Tributes” section at the bottom of this page.

Kathlene was amazing. She came to our house on the farm for several years when she was in her early teens. The year I had a 3 month old she did most of the cooking for a harvest crew of six people. She made fancy desserts, croissants from scratch, etc, and she had everything timed to be on the table when we ate lunch at 1. It was way beyond anything I would have attempted to do and I’d been cooking for years. She was always so generous and thoughtful with her friends and family. I loved her sense of adventure and love of experiencing all there was to experience. She was a wonderful nurse and mother. She had a smile that lit up the room. Kathlene is so missed!! ❤️

You worked so hard for us. You worked so hard to support us, prioritized life-giving experiences that we remember to this day, cared for us both physically and emotionally, provided sage wisdom as we navigated our youth and transition into adulthood, and cared ever so deeply. Even in the midst of personal and professional turmoil. That is the definition of an exceptional mom. Selfless, observant, never ceasing push for what is best for her children. - We miss you and love you so deeply - We respect everything you believed you needed to do, even those things that were never acknowledged by others - We love that you modeled living a truly full life. Full of love, adventures, and hardships. You lived an extraordinarily adventurous life and having witnessed the latter half of your life, spending the precious time we have been blessed with here on this earth to its absolute fullest did not go unnoticed. - Mountain biking and whitewater rafting instead of Netflix. - Experiencing different states, geographies, and people. - Working hard, playing hard. - Loving so deeply it can be painful at times. What an amazing woman. What an amazing mom. What an amazing life! We love you mom. You will never be forgotten. Austin Black & Family

Kate was one of the sweetest people I've ever known. She always lit up the room and made my day brighter just by being there. I'll always cherish the baby money plant she gave me. She knew I loved it so much🥰. Every time I see it, I think of her and the kindness she shared so freely. Kate was so much more than a client—she was someone who touched my heart. I will miss her deeply.
