Karon Lee Minor

Karon Lee Minor, 62, of Parkersburg, WV went home to be with the Lord after a long hard fought battle on March 21,2018. She was born in Elizabeth, WV the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin Minor and the late Virginia (Ginny) Ann (Huffman) Minor. Karon loved to travel and see the world. Her passion was teaching and loving on her kids. She taught at Wirt County Middle school from 1992 until retirement and continued teaching at Mountain State College until her recent illness. She loved giving and helping in any way she could and she especially loved her grandkids. She is survived by her daughter Nicole (Nicki) White; grandson Ryker Nedeff; grand-daughter Kimber White; son Jonathan (Jon) White; daugher-in-law Cindy Noland; grand-daughters Hailey and Rylee Noland and Jasmyn and Kenzee White all of Palestine, WV; brother Jacob (Jake) Minor of Parkersburg; nieces Brittney and Harley Minor of Florida and Grace Minor of North Carolina. A memorial service will be held at Wirt County High School Auditorium in Elizabeth, WV on April 7th at 11 a. m. In leiu of flowers, donations can be made to Karon Minor Memorial Fund at Calhoun Banks. Any remaining donations will go to area organizations (i. e. Sideliners, Wirt Youth Football and Cheer, Band, 4-H, etc)
