I miss you so much; I never imagined that I would not have you here with me every day; who knew that I should have created a picture in my mind of every memory because it was going to be the last. The day you were born I remember the doctor talking very loudly saying come on baby breathe over and over again; it seemed like an eternity until your father and I heard your cry. Of course, Riley was crying the entire time. I remember saying hello to the beautiful baby who barely moved inside my tummy for nine months worried that you would be this timid little girl, but you became the young women I wanted you to be. Someone that would stand up for herself and others; something that was difficult for me and I did not wish you to struggle as I did. Both you and your sister became strong women, and your father and I are so proud of you. I may have pushed the independence factor a little too far because you always had to get the last word in every time we talked, argued or laughed. Nevertheless, I would not change these qualities about you; they are what made you unique and special. The day you left us my world changed forever; I cry every time I see something of yours, or I slip up and say what do the girls want knowing Riley is without her best friend. Each memory makes my heart hurt knowing that I will not have the chance to make new ones. I cannot quit crying, and the pain is unbearable, but worst of all I did not get the chance to say goodbye.

I am greatly saddened by Kaitlin's passing. She and Riley were on the Perryton Rangerette Golf Team. We made many trips together. I will remember both as hard-working dedicated students. Peace be with you all.

What a beautiful tribute! I can feel the love and joy she brought to her family and friends. What a gift to have her in your life! Share the many memories, laugh about the good and silly times, and taking her with you in your heart everyday. That is the best gift you can give her! So sorry for your loss! With Deepest Sympathy! Love you all
