When we were in Toas Tia Tita always opened her house for us. She made me feel like I was at home. I will always rember her. She was a great mom, grandma, sister, and aunt. I am happ she will no longer suffer.

My Tia Tita was the most wonderful caring mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was a hard working lady who always took care of her family before herself. Her home was always open and she made everyone feel so welcome. When we went to visit, we always had a place to stay. It was Tita who kept our family together after Grandma passed on. When we were kids, she always made sure her cookie jar was filled with homemade chocolate chip cookies. For as long as I can remember, she always had her Cherry-Almond Jergens lotion in the bathroom. I always told her that I thought of her every day when I put on my Cherry-Almond Jergens lotion. She said she remembered me every day when she was tying her shoes. These are the memories I will carry with me. I had the opportunity to spend her last few weeks with her and to pray with her. Her last words to me were of graditude for being there for her and praying with her. These are words I will never forget. Although she was struggling so much to breathe, Tita handled her cancer with so much dignity and never complained. I saw a very strong lady with tremendous faith. She loved all of her family so much and Mikaela was her pride and joy. We will miss you Tia Tita. Although our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowning that your suffering and pain is over and you can rest in peace. You will live on in our hearts and are now our guardian angel. Love, Rozella "Chella"
