Let us take a moment to celebrate a loving wife, mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, aunt, great aunt, confidant and friend.
Judy taught everyone how to love. She taught the importance of family and ancestry; and how the smallest ripple in your family line can send shock waves of importance through the years.
She taught love and laughter and how to find the joy and humor in every situation. Judy knew how to bend the rules just right and find the beauty and grace in everything and everyone.
She understood the importance of moments and how to freeze them in memory and preserve them for future generations for years and years to come.
Judy knew how to love everyone just right. Whether it be a distant friend or close family, she had a special way of connecting with all. Birthdays, anniversaries, who was married to great great great grandma twice removed...you name it, she remembered it and could connect every date and every name with a story. Her stories and memories would bring you so much closer to your heritage, to your friendships, and shine a light on things that otherwise may have gone forgotten.
Although she was strikingly wise, she also lived like a young soul. Known lovingly as Grams, she kept up with her grandkids and great grandkids to a greater degree than most her age. The party always started when Judy entered the room. Her radiance and smile brought the cheer to holidays, the laughter to get-togethers, and the kookiness to shopping extravaganzas. Her bright personality always emitted through the room as she graced it.
Judy would want us to remember.
Remember to spread joy.
Remember to laugh a littler harder and get a little twisted.
Remember moments.
Remember those who came before us, and spread their roots deep.
Remember to love and accept.
And to love.
Love and love hard.
