Joyce Mann

Dear IPPAM community, I am sorry to share with you the sad and devastating news that our beloved director, Joyce Mann, unexpectedly passed away yesterday. Our heartache cannot be put into words. Joyce joined USC Price in 1999 and served as director of IPPAM for the past 13 years. Her intellect, generosity and compassion touched the lives of everyone who had the pleasure and honor of knowing and working with her. Joyce’s research into health care issues made a lasting impact in the field and leave a legacy that will continue to inform policymakers. As compassionate and thoughtful as Joyce was, she wouldn’t want to see anyone distressed. Rather, she would want you to remember her joy for life and the rich experiences you shared with her at IPPAM and USC Price. The Price School and IPPAM office will hold a memorial service this fall. We will notify you when the time and location are determined. Joanna
