Joseph M. Martinez 42 of Chimayo, NM. died peacefully on Tuesday September 30, 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife Maria Martinez in 2004, son Joseph Jo-Jo Martinez in 2004, father Levi M. Martinez in 1978, and his maternal & Paternal Grandparents. Joseph is survived by daughters Nicole Martinez of Chimayo and Brianna Ulibarri of Mississippi, parents Paul and Vivian Velasquez of Chimayo, brothers and sisters; Paul Vellasquez, Jr. of Chimayo, Levi A. Martinez of Chimayo, Elaine Martinez of Chimayo, Louie Martinez and wife Leeann of Espanola, close uncle John Rodriguez of Espanola, and special friends Walter and Lillian Holmes of Chimayo as well as other relatives. A memorial gathering will be held in the near future but has not been scheduled yet. Memorial contributions may be made through the mortuary office, in Josephs name, to: The Care♥net Pregnancy Center of Espanola, supporting Espanolas expectant mothers in need. While I did not kow Joseph, it saddens me when our relatives and neighbors hurt with sorrow. God bless you all. Paul's cousin, Eufemia Romero and husband, Vicente and family, Chimayo My dad, Ricardo Pacheco, was also Levi's first cousin.
