Joseph Geraci

Joseph Geraci passed away 11/11/2021 at the age of 73 surrounded by his family. He was born 1/9/1948 in Oakland, CA to Mary and Michael Geraci. Joe is survived by his loving wife of fifty years, Claudia; his sister Martha; his daughters Gina, Nicole, and Jessica; his eight grandchildren Jessica Leigh, Kyle, Claudia, Samuel, Quincy, Josephine, Heron, and Jaqueline; and one great-grandchild Ronan. Joe graduated from Richmond Union High School class of ‘66. He was a naval veteran who served on the USS Arlington during the Vietnam War. In his earlier years, he was a journeyman ship fitter at Alameda and San Francisco Shipyards. He built and repaired naval ships and worked on top secret projects for the navy. Joe practiced Kung Fu for over 7years and loved martial arts for a lifetime. He also loved music and dancing with his wife; football; boxing; golf; going to the shooting range; a good cigar; and barbequing for his family. Joseph was laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Happy Valley, OR on 12/2/21 at 1pm.
