Forever in our Hearts
Chef Joseph Dcosta was a remarkable individual, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those around him. In the professional sphere, he was known for his efficiency and professionalism, earning a reputation as a no-nonsense person. However, he balanced this with compassion, supporting and mentoring his team members to excel in their careers. On a personal level, Joseph was a source of joy and laughter, delighting gatherings with his playful nature and silly jokes that endeared him to his nephews and nieces. His simplicity and humility, standing tall at 6 ft, further exemplified his genuine character.
Family held a special place in Joseph's heart, and he showered his wife, Crescy Dsouza, and their sons, Joshua and Jaden, with love and care. His selfless nature extended to others, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. His love for Hindi music and daily silent prayers showcased his unwavering faith.
As an accomplished executive chef, Joseph's culinary expertise was remarkable, reflecting his passion for food. Yet, it was his humility that truly defined him. A unique and kind soul, he touched the lives of everyone he encountered.
Though his physical presence is deeply missed, the knowledge that he watches over from above brings comfort. Until the day they meet again in heaven, Joseph will be remembered with love and gratitude.
His legacy of love, laughter, and humility will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to have known him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.

"Call me anytime of the day or night and I'll be there" Man of true actions, simple and a disciplineed life he led. He led with great example not just for his family but also for the people around him. Joseph Uncle thank you for always being there for our family. We are forever grateful to you. Josh and Jadu undoubtedly am sure you both will become the men uncle wanted you'll to be, and will take care of Crescy aunty too just like how he did with all his humour and simplicity. Rest in a Peace Uncle. Will Always be here for the family too.

Joseph..a very dear and true friend and bhaiyya.. He used to call me "behena".. I dont have elder brother but he took care of me as my own elder brother and he used to give me valuable advices and counsel me as a brother... Whenever we used to meet during our breaks we used to talk mainly about God and faith and followed by his numerous humor stories about his colleagues, (jokes mostly on his wife

It is an honor to write this tribute to Chef Jo —a friend, colleague, a brother... Chef Joe was such an inspiring person. he always talked about living to the fullest with humbleness and Kind and he proved it. He always welcomed those who had problems with an open arm. I’m sure he is enjoying the harvest of his good deeds' ... he was the most compassionate, loving, and humble person I know. He always looked out for others first. I know he is resting in God’s bosom. It was a privilege for me to have been a part of Chef Joe's Professional life. Although much too short, his, was a life well lived! He was a determined, visionary, collaborative, goal-oriented, most importantly caring person who loved life and all that it offered. Chef Joe a caring and beloved family man, a cherished colleague, a Brother and a friend-- will be missed by many, but never will he be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to have known him!

Looking back through all our trips, here’s one memory that stood out. Joseph decided to just do something different in 2015. Joseph, Chris, my mum, and I decided to wing it for the first time. Chris found out about Pawna Lake while Mum made all the bookings. I just tagged along. This trip was so memorable; we went boating, had a good drink, and spoke about life. Joe, as always, gave us valuable life lessons and ended the note with his jokes! Here’s to seeing you again ❤️ we will always hold onto everything you’ve taught us.
