Jonathan Horne

Jonathan Michael Horne, age 22, of Frederick, Maryland, died in a car accident on Thursday, December 13th. He was born at Frederick Memorial Hospital in Frederick, Maryland on June 12, 1990. He is survived by his parents, Chris and Marti Horne, his older sister, Meredith Huebner and husband Robert, his older brother, Joshua and wife Deirdre, and his younger sister, Melissa. He is also survived by his paternal grandfather, John Horne and his maternal grandmother, Jean Meredith. A day after Jonathan's passing, his maternal grandfather, Joe Meredith, also passed away. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Doris Horne. Jonathan is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and was preceded in death in July of this year by his cousin, Benjamin Horne. Jon was a graduate of the Linganore High School's class of 2008. He was a private first class with the Maryland Army National Guard's 224th Area Support Medical Company. Jon always looked forward to his work with the Guard and thrived on the support and structure provided. Jonathan loved spending time in the outdoors. He enjoyed camping and spent long hours walking through forests. He was a talented guitar player and composer. Above all, he loved his family and friends, whom he cared about with powerful devotion and loyalty. He always had a heart to help those in need.
