When we first met you were saving me from myself in not knowing anything about running a snack bar. Each season you were there for me and we became friends. After I retired we still kept in touch and you returned my welfare calls up to 6 months later. That last call you returned and found out I was divorced, we began our journey. That journey has now become an adventure. You took the shot and have never returned to the bench. Thanks for believing in us and becoming my best friend. Each day is a blessing when I wake up by your side and we start off the new day with cups of coffee, my favorite food group. Our blended family keeps us on our toes and keeps us young, except for the gray hairs. Your support, friendship, and love make me a better person. Especially when you talk me off the ledge during 4th Q. I love you beyond words and cherish each moment we shared together. You never read this my love as it would have been etched on a frame for our anniversary. Enjoy the waves honey!
