John Webster Vining, Jr.

John is preceded in death by his son, Bruce Vining; his parents, Burlie and John W. Vining Sr.; his brothers, Gene and Donald Vining.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Vining; daughter, Teresa Willis (Rex); son, Daryl Vining (April); sister, Carolyn Garrison; grandchildren, Chris Willis (Kim), Brittany Tipton (Zeb), Heather Stanberry (Eric), Dustin Vining (Abbey), and Kaitlyn Anderson (Corey); great-grandchildren, Charleigh, Presleigh, Scarlett, John Daniel, Eli, Jeremiah, Bradley, Aspen, Adam, Jack, and Blakely. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Most knew John as Rooster or Paw Paw. He and Joyce were married on November 30, 1962, and have been growing their “circle” ever since. He loved his family more than anything in the world, his “circle” was always the most important thing to him. He enjoyed camping, woodworking, creating memories with family and Alabama football. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

To honor his wishes, there will not be a service. His family will be gathering to celebrate the incredible life that he had.
