Many memories of John, as he was instrumental to my family and I as I started out in my new career as a new professional. I will remember the many work trips we took for conferences and visiting other plants. Stopping at every Cabelas and Bass Pro Shop we passed, until he was able to purchase the large gun safe he had been eyeing. Then there was the major task of getting it moved into the house! John is a great man that cares for those around him and developing a lasting relation. He will be missed. May the Lord bless and comfort all of his family, especially Lori and John and Stephanie. Until we meet again my friend.

I was in a safety meeting at Nucor Steel where he was the Safety Manager, when my phone went off with the ring tone of Quiet Riot. I silenced my phone and he looked at me and said ”I took you as a country listener". We became friends and even though my the company I worked for left Nucor we remained friends.

John was my neighbor for almost 22 yrs and anytime I needed help with a garage door something in the yard or moving a piece of heavy furniture I could always count on John to help me out ! He was a model neighbor and kept his yard and house impeccable, fly high John and give Angie a big hug from her mama. You will be missed a great guy for sure . I still laugh at the story Lori told me about my black cat dropping out of the tree next to you One evening close to Halloween and scared the Heck out of you ! I can just see you there lol
