John Llyod Nowery

John Llyod Nowery, 88, of Parkersburg, died on Monday July 22, 2024, at The Willows Center.

He was born on February 18 th , 1936 to the late Llyod Denver Nowery and Bernice Nowery. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jane Bailey and JoAnne Ash, his son, Christopher and daughter-in-law, Vera Nowery.

John is survived by his other two sons, Douglas (Carol) Nowery, Ryan (Julie) Nowery and his daughter Amy (Al) Tingler. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. 

John was an avid hunter and fisherman, as he loved the outdoors. He enjoyed bowling and spent a lot of time in various bowling leagues at Emerson Lanes where he had many friends whom he considered family. 

In keeping with his wishes, John will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at the Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
