Dear John... this was too ironic and funny not to write this here... took a DNA test and found out... wait for it... a huge percentage Celtic... that threw me completely because-no where in my family history did i ever hear Irish: Scottish....then scrolling through my DNA match ups... i come across a McLachlan...who is my 4th cousin... lol!!!!!!!!! If you were here you know id be get that DNA test done... just how related are we?? Lol

This photo... you thought i was someone else and oneday you said you needed to see a selfie with your gaming name on it.... so to convince you That it was me - i did it...., do you know how hard it was to do a selfie holding a sign and look pretty all at the same time?? lol now this story makes us all laugh... that was Slev for you lol....

John I was not prepared, i will never be prepared... you were one of my best friends and you were not supposed to leave me... you were going to take my puppy "trouble" whom you always wanted to kidnap... and we were going to meet up maybe Cuba.... Instead you promised that you would haunt me... We met in the gaming world, and known each other for years... but only this last year while John was in Thailand did we grow close enough that I considered him one of my closest best friends... I read back some of our long conversations and i read this one where john gave someone "the best friend test" and i said best friend test??? Did i fail it?? And he responded by saying i think i never gave it you.. you just became one! No one made me laugh the way john did...no one was as honest with me as john was either... John will hold the record for the amount of times any guy asked me to marry them - 5 times... once with taco bell salsa packets.... i lost a lot of photos when my line crashed.... but one of the funniest memories ever!!!! We talked every day about everything... i miss that... i miss you john and i lub you!! The gaming community mourns his loss - everyone knew John - he was a character and a half... memorials were set up in both games we played together..to honour him State of Survival- was a game i begged him to join for months.. one day he just joined... - he made me so happy that day!!! many other koa'ers joined too us and we were all so grateful that we got time to have fun even for just awhile with Slev.. SOS had 4 states set up a memorial camp - it truely was the most heartwarming sight... KOA - also set up camps for our former king.....as it was with John/Slevin - both had its eventful moments... but ended with some if the most beautiful moments ever! John was an incredible person... i cannot even find the words to express how much he meant to me and how grateful I am that he was a part if my life!! John was always there for me... once i was really upset and John messaged me back.. he said i prayed before i responded to you that i would find the right words to say to you to comfort you... he did!!! John loved Patrick Swayze... and one of the first times i really said anything to him was in the game and i said dance Swayze dance... john laughed. John and i shared the love of music- we'd both always read lyrics to songs... and john like to post them.. a lot lol. atmosphere, Brother Ali was one of the artists he said helped get through some sad times... I have so many memories and moments! Many condolences are being posted there by players to his family and friends.. There will never be anyone like you! Love Nix

Dear John, You would laugh at that! 166 Days surely lyrics to a song! i miss you - yet it seems like yesterday... i remember the place i was the last time we talked - i was so sure that you would never leave me.... we talk about you - laugh at memories and tear up too... We renamed an alliance to honor you.. i made another Slevin base - so no matter we go your a part of it all! i dont think you knew how much We loved you and what an impact you had on so many lives! you will always be "our" John... And all i can say is i wish we started talking sooner..because once we did - we never stopped... i was listening to a song you sent to me - "i said sing to me John"and you said that you were singing it to me in that song... It was sung by another Jon Mclaughlin.... i heard the lyrics and it made me cry... but its ok cause you surround me... like a warm fire on a cold winters night... till we meet again... because we will that i know... i carry you in my heart and think how damn blessed I was that there was a John Mc' in my world and heart! "When the sun don't shine When your tears run dry When you find another soul Who sees that light in your eyes No matter what you're told You are beautiful And wherever life will take you in this world You're still my girl You're the queen, I'll be the jester I'm a royal fool for her majesty Let's pretend we'll stay like this forever Wave your magic wand and make time freeze, please"

John, you were taken far too soon. Too many adventures left unfinished, too many things left undone. I will always remember the good times we shared and treasure everything you taught me through our experiences together. You will be very missed and thought of often. - Julie
