Joey J. Hatch

Joseph "Joey" John Hatch passed away unexpectedly on April 9th, 2023 from a pulmonary embolism.

His family is deeply saddened and shocked by his passing.

Joey was born April 16th, 1991 in San Diego, CA. His love of baseball started at a young age. He played little league for 10 years. Joey graduated from Helix High School in 2009 where he participated in music, swim, water polo, and volleyball.

Joey worked as a security guard for 9 years at Wyndham Hotels. Over time he bonded with his role and cultivated several friendships with his team.

Anytime you saw Joey he was dressed head to toe in Padres or Green Bay Packers gear as he followed them very closely. He was silly, upbeat, & an absolute joy to be around.

Joey is survived and missed by his loving parents Julie and Monte Hatch, siblings Breanna and Jesse Hatch, Niece Jesse Laine Hatch, Paternal Grandmother Norma Peterson, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, as well as his many caring friends.
