My Legacy is One of Love by Joe Fabiano
Do you know I walked and lived in a different time that no longer exists
A relic from the past
As I pass, will you hold my hand
I lived a wonderful life
Journeyed to places very few ever see
Lived life way too much at times
We pay a price a little at a time
As I pass, will you hold my hand
Your smiles always melted my heart, my daughters
I know we’ve shared joyous memories to last a lifetime
As I pass, will you hold my hand
As I look to the mountains below the sea
All good things come to an end eventually
As I pass, please hold my hand
One last time to carry me home
My family is waiting
As I will be waiting to see you and hold you again someday
Love is all there is.

What a great man. Our family’s had a tight bond. The Sunday diners. The unannounced visits that turned into all day visits and great times. Those memories from childhood through adulthood are priceless. I’ve learned and appreciated from these experiences. Life is short. Too short. Make unannounced visits. Have diners. Enjoy each other’s company.
