Amber Goodrich Darling of Salt Lake City Utah, Amy Goodrich Laxton of Spencer West Virginia and Greg Goodrich of Bothell Washington. Laura Goodrich of Parkersburg West Virginia, Timothy Goodrich of Spencer West Virginia Kimberly Goodrich Starcher of Mount alto West Virginia. Uncle Jim had many great and great great grand nephews and nieces too many to name. Jimmy was a very giving and devoted friend too many in his adopted hometown of Grantsville in Calhoun County West Virginia. He spent so much of his time helping others whether it was a ride to the store, sharing a meal or just talking over a cup of coffee. Jimmy had a love for nature and all it entailed, he especially loved fishing and ‘sanging’. He was often sought out for his vast wisdom of the outdoors which he freely and joyfully gave. His love of the land and nature will live on through the generations. Uncle Jim had a profound influence on his nieces and nephews they all loved him dearly and he loved them. Although to most people he was often quiet, to us he had a fun playful personality. He made us laugh with his corny jokes and his many stories. He was the kindest and most giving uncle with a great big generous heart. The lives of his loved ones will never be the same as he will be deeply missed his memory will be cherished and kept alive by all who knew and loved him. As per Jimmy’s wishes he was cremated and no formal services held. A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation.
