Memorial

Jewel Burt, 95, of Taos passed away on June 10, 2007. She along with her husband, Paul, owned and operated New Mexico Electric Co. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul J. Burt, daughter, Rosamund Lee Gutierrez and son, Pauly Burt. She is survived by her children, Gordon Burt (Cynthia) of Taos, Barbara Cozart (Duke) of Tres Piedras and Sylvia Archuleta (Tony) of Taos. She is also survived by grandchildren, Anthony Archuleta (Randi), Leandra McDonald (Dylan), Doug Cozart (Alana), Jeremy Cozart, Karen Cozart, Joe Burt (Ana), Judith Ortiz (Javier), Paul Gutierrez and Lora Lee Archuleta (Pat), eight grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Rosary was recited on June 12, 2007 at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass was held on June 13, 2007 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment was held at Sierra Vista Cemetery.
