Jennifer Ashlynn Tate

Jennifer was loved by all she encountered. She was incredibly smart and brilliant to be so young. From time to time she even taught me things I didn't even know. She embraced both her latin and African heritage and also took to many other cultures pushing herself to learn not only Spanish but French as well. She was uncertain about where her education would take her but the very first step she wanted to take was pursuing a degree in bioengineering. After graduating in 2019 she took time off from school and took a trip to Europe, where she's always wanted to go since she was little. This was her way of figuring out what she wanted out of life and she had only just begin to find herself. In the absence of our mother she always made sure to speak on every achievement and event in her life as if she was speaking to our mother in the same room. And now that she has passed on I know she's talking our mother ears off with everything that's happened since her passing 3 years ago. Jennifer is now with the people she missed the most and knowing that gives me peace of mind. I love you baby sister
