Jeffrey Burl Grogg

Jeffrey (Jeff) Burl Grogg, 55, of Parkersburg, WV, passed away June 12, 2019 at the Parkersburg Care Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Parkersburg on October 31, 1963, a son of the late Leon B. Grogg and the late Marjorie Sue Roberts Grogg. Jeff worked in the HVAC industry his entire life. He was a simple, free-spirited man with many friends and a heart of gold. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing and hunting. Jeffrey is survived by his only son, Jeffrey Ryan Grogg and his fiance', Hannah Stout of Parkersburg, WV; sister Carma S. Hanlon (Tim), brother Patrick L. Grogg (Kelta), and sister Cynthia D. Porter (Eddie), whom he was her protector in many ways. He was very close to his brother-in-law, Eddie Porter. He will be cremated and his ashes scattered on the hunting grounds in Gilmer County.
