Loved Ones

“Though my chapter in your story ended too soon, I hope you always keep the corner turned down on my page — because every moment with you was one of my favorites.”

Jeffrey Daniel Poarch, 48, of Corinth, Texas, passed away on May 24, 2026. Born on April 4, 1978, Jeffrey was a bright light to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His kindness, larger-than-life personality, and unmistakably loud spirit could fill any room with laughter, warmth, and love.

Jeffrey dedicated more than 26 years of his life to Prime Controls, where he built not only a respected career, but lifelong friendships. He was known for his hard work, loyalty, and ability to make those around him smile no matter the circumstance.

He never met a stranger and truly loved everyone he encountered. Whether you knew him for years or only a few moments, Jeffrey had a way of making people feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated. His generous heart and unforgettable personality left a lasting impact on countless lives.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph David Poarch and Ruth Ann Poarch, as well as his beloved aunt, Betty Jo Bell. He is survived by his brother, Brian; his niece, Alexis; his nephew, Hunter; and many extended family members, friends, and coworkers who will forever cherish his memory.

Jeffrey’s presence was impossible to ignore and even harder to forget. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in the hearts of those who loved him.

We would like to continue and spread Jeff’s generosity. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

Jeff may not have had kids of his own, but he always treated us, his team, as if we were his own flesh and blood. We even referred to him as dad, and people referred to us as his kids. The running joke was that everything we did had to go through Justin (Jeff’s Senior Programmer), his favorite son. What we loved most, is that Jeff cared about us deeply and protected us like a parent would. He built a team that loved him and respected him. All we ever wanted to do, and continue to want to do, is make him proud. His legacy will carry on through us, his children. Love you dad! I’ve attached a few pictures of the kids at work, making him proud.

What lesson(s) did Jeffrey teach you?

Be a good friend, be there for people, enjoy life. You can have your cake and eat it too! Jeff would have made the world’s best life coach. We all could learn to be better people. He is a great example of exactly that.

John & Elizabeth Nugent

There are some people who come into your life and leave a mark that can never be replaced. Jeff Poarch was that kind of person to John and I. He was more than a friend — he was family, a constant source of laughter, support, loyalty, and love. Jeff had a way of making everyone around him feel valued and welcomed. His heart was genuine, his spirit unforgettable, and his friendship was something we will always treasure. Our hearts are broken over losing him far too soon, but we are incredibly grateful for every moment, every laugh, and every conversation we were blessed to have with him. Jeff touched so many lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by everyone who knew and loved him. We will miss you more than words can express, Jeff. Thank you for being such an important part of our lives. We love you always. * John and I have never been good about taking photos so we don't have any to share, we just have the snap shots in our memories!

Jeff was one of the kindest and most generous people you could ever meet. He gave his time, his love, and his heart so freely to the people around him. He loved deeply and loyally — especially when it came to his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys, even if this Georgia Bulldog girl gave him a hard time about it. He loved my kids and never failed to ask about them. That was just who he was — he made people feel important, cared for, and loved. And if you knew Jeffie, you knew when he walked into a room. He was loud, full of life, and carried an energy that drew people in. One of the most beautiful things to witness was his friendships. Every relationship he had was unique and special in its own way, and he gave so much of himself to the people he loved. One of my favorite memories will always be sitting on Charles’ back patio and everyone singing Tiny Dancer together. It’s a memory I’ll hold onto forever and his one-of-a-kind laugh. The world lost someone truly special, and our hearts will never be the same without him here. Love you always, Jeffy
