Jean Ann Robinson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Ann Robinson, who departed this life on November 9, 2023, in Charlotte, North Carolina, surrounded by those who loved her. She was 52 years old.

Jean was born in Maryland, where she spent her early years developing the compassion, determination, and gentle spirit that would define her life. She later dedicated more than 20 years of her career to serving others as a registered nurse at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Her unwavering commitment to patient care, her comforting presence, and her genuine kindness earned the admiration and respect of countless patients, coworkers, and friends.

Jean was the beloved wife of Steven Robinson, whose love and devotion remained a constant source of strength throughout their marriage. Although Jean and Steven did not have children, they shared a life filled with love, faith, and unwavering support for one another. Jean also faced the challenges of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) with remarkable courage, resilience, and grace, never allowing it to diminish her compassion for others.

Those who knew Jean will remember her as one of the kindest and most selfless people they ever met. She had a warm smile that could brighten any room, a gentle heart that welcomed everyone without judgment, and a generous spirit that inspired those around her. Whether she was caring for patients, supporting a friend, or encouraging someone in need, Jean always put others before herself.

A woman of deep faith, Jean was actively involved in her church and believed strongly in serving her community. Her faith guided every aspect of her life and was reflected in the love, humility, and compassion she showed to everyone she encountered.

Jean leaves behind her devoted husband, Steven Robinson, and her cherished friends Karen, Susan, and Laura, whose lives were forever enriched by her friendship, kindness, and unwavering support. She also leaves behind many colleagues, neighbors, and loved ones who will miss her deeply and remember her with great affection.

Though Jean is no longer with us, her legacy of love, service, compassion, and faith will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
