As Jen's husband, it has been an honor to marry into such a loving group of three siblings. And to see their love for Doris, particularly Jean's help-at-any-hour selflessness, has been to see a bright, quiet light coming from truly deep hearts.

Maryalis Clausen Frink

Dear Scott Pepper and family, I was so sorry to read about the passing of Jean Pepper. As the last name Pepper is unique, I quickly read this obituary and found your name! It is you Scott! I remember how you named one of your daughters Kyanne!!! I hope you remember me! My name is Maryalis Clausen Frink and YOU were the Art Consultant for Federal Way School District. You hired me as an elementary art aid for Steve Kester in 1970!!! Art on a cart! We were the traveling Art and PE team to different elementary schools. In the spring a position opened up at Sacajawea Junior High and Steve and you suggested ME for that position!!! I then TAUGHT with you at Federal Way High School! You taught Pottery and I was Drawing and Painting!!! I soooo admired you- your compassion and talent- I never forgot you! I retired from teaching 13 years ago and have ALWAYS BEEN SO GRATEFUL for your efforts to hire me in a full time position!! Again, I am so sorry to read of the passing of your beloved wife. If you remember me and would like to catch up, my phone number is 253-732-2889! I’m soooo happy to even just read your name! Sincerely, Maryalis Clausen Frink !!!!!!
