Jason Joe Williams

Jason Joe Williams, 43, of Waterloo, Iowa, passed away on December 22, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on September 7, 1980, in DeKalb, Illinois to Jim Williams and Beverly Williams-Bear. Jason was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend.

Jason excelled at everything that he did and he was a true jack of all trades. He had a passion for the outdoors and loved sharing his knowledge with others. He was always on the go, doing the things he loved and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding his Harley, and spending time with friends and family. These activities brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature and his adventurous spirit.

In his career, Jason dedicated most of his time to the automotive industry doing mechanic and auto body repairs. His expertise and dedication made him highly regarded in his field.

Jason is survived by his mother, Beverly Bear of Waterloo; a sister, Jennifer Williams of Harrisburg, OR; step-siblings, multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his beloved black lab, Bel. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Williams; stepfather, Ron Plum; brother, Billy Williams; uncle, Mark Weber; nephew, Joseph Mancilla.

A celebration of Jason's life will be held on January 13th from 12-2pm at the American Legion located at 728 Commercial St in Waterloo, Iowa. Please join us in remembering and honoring Jason's life.
