The life of the party.

Janice Ruth Fredricks, 81, of Oak Ridge, TN passed away on the 22nd of March 2019. She was born to the late Thomas and Ruth Grissom, November 14, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband Loren Fredricks and their adopted daughter Leslie Fredricks Walters. Janice is survived by her four children, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other loving relatives and lifelong friends. Janice served in the Navy, was a seamstress, manicurist, bookkeeper and at the time of her retirement an administrative assistant. Since Janice had friends all over the country, in lieu of a formal service in Tennessee, Minnesota, Nevada or California, a memorial page has been setup for friends, loved ones and associates to share their condolences and memories. Janice always loved to tell stories and jokes, you are welcome to share yours on her page: http://www.qeepr.com/profile/JaniceFredricks/ Per her wishes, Janice’s ashes will be buried at a shared plot with her late daughter Leslie Fredricks Walters.

My condolences to Janice’s family. Janice was a joy to be around. We loved to discuss the Hollywood scene with Leslie and enjoyed many laughs! They are both greatly missed, but I know they are both together in peace.

Jerry & family; With the passing of Jan a warm smile has left this world, the sparking eyes, the warm laughter, the stories and jokes. She lived a full, adventurous, good life and will be missed by all who's life's path she crossed. I am thankful she is no longer in pain and suffering. I will truly miss her when visiting Tennessee.

Going to the Machine Shop always meant a smile was on the way when you saw Jan... she was such a ray of light!!! I feel blessed she was in my life, and i’ll never forget one of her favorite greetings: Me - How are you Jan? Jan - any better and I’d have a twin!!!!
