May 23rd, 1952 - January 15th, 2020
This profile is dedicated to Jane Bellamy who sadly passed away aged just 67. She was born Jane Louise Carr in Norwich on the 23rd May 1952 and died at Southampton Hospital on the 15th January 2020.
Jane grew up in Suffolk, Andalucia, Spain and the Isle of Wight and was educated at Roedean school for girls in Brighton, Sussex. Jane married Ron Bellamy on the 13th July 1977. She became stepmother to Jason and Dominic and mother to James in 1979.
Jane was a loving wife and mother. She had a passion for animals all her life and learned to ride from the age of three. She loved her horses and she had many! Drum had a very special place in her heart. Her lovely Westies Charlie and Toby will miss her very much.
Jane was not only a wonderful mother but a great friend to many. Those that knew her will know how much she cared for others and was always a joy to be around. Her sense of humour and love of laughter was infectious. She will be sadly missed by both family and friends, new and old.

Jane’s old friends in Talgarth, where she, Ron and the boys lived in the 80s, have so many good memories. She had boundless energy, a cheerful approach to life and a great laugh! My daughter says she always thought Jane was like Anneke Rice! We will remember Jane with affection and with a smile.

My dear friend Jane. I first met you when I inheriteted a mad Westie 7 years ago. We quickly learnt of our shared love for the westie , horses, france and same foods. Off I went and got a horse (ex racer). I never had the experience and we made a plan. Drums health was not good and on his gallop over rainbow bridge you and I became partners with Strider. Since then there has hardly been a day that we have not been in contact. You would come round for coffee and lunch, we would share everything that had happened. We definatley would put the world to rights and fall about laughing. You brought Strider back to full fitness and got me riding again. You loved our quirky little mischievous 15.2 Strider and betweeen us was totally spoilt as you would often say. We went to France on overnight stay in Nov 2018 and it was hillarious. Sadly our plans to do long weekend in St Malo in spring has to be postponed. Amazing friend I miss you as do so many other people. Till we meet again xxxx

Bron and Jane November 2012 at Nobby's Beach Newcastle Australia. Second photo is Robert Carr, Jane and John Carr at family reunion at Graham Carr's home in Sydney 2012. John and I first met Jane in 1977 on our visit to the UK. We have fond memories of also meeting Jane's father Cuthbert on the Isle of Wight. Facebook has made contact with relatives from afar so much easier and it seems to break down the physical distance between us. We will miss this contact and send our deepest sympathies to all Jane's family and friends. She will be greatly missed. Sending our love Bron and John Carr, Toronto Australia.
