Jamie Waltman Wiebe

Jamie Waltman Wiebe, devoted father, beloved son and brother, parted this life peacefully on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. He was 35. Jamie was born in Concordia Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba on July 23, 1983. Jamie is survived by his daughter Saydee Marion Jean, mother Tina (Murray), siblings: Erika (Tyrone), Jolante (Patrick), Lenard (Pauline), and Jenina (Jared), as well as numerous other family and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Heinrich Wiebe. From an early age, Jamie loved to play and work on equipment - it had to be hands on for Jamie. With a tough exterior, Jamie was hard to read, not always apt to show his true side. He shared the softer side with his close friends and family though. He gave where he could, which a lot of the time was out of his own personal sacrifice. Trying to help those that he saw suffering, Jamie would give the shirt off his own back when possible; we believe that was Christ in him. Jamie will be dearly missed by his family and close friends. Please join us for a celebration of Jamie's life on Sunday, January 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Masonic Memorial Centre in Winnipeg, 420 Corydon Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that people make donations to Jamie's daughter Saydee's trust account. He is at peace, try to believe. It was his time, he had to leave.
