I met James through his sister, Georgette, and brother-in-low, Joseph Morales in 1995. Joseph was part of the Fiesta de Santa Fe's cuadrilla (de Vargas staff) in which he portrayed the role of one of the Native Americans (Pueblo peoples). Joseph introduced James to me to as a potential member of the de Vargas staff. James was offered the role of the second Pueblo native and he accepted the role. The 1995 de Vargas staff had a great summer and James was an integral part of the staff. May his soul rest in eternal peace and glory with our Lord, Jesus Christ and all of the faithful departed brothers and sister.
