My best friend and love of my life. Jim was loved and respected by everyone who knew him. We were married for 47 years, together for nearly 50 years, and knew each other for over 50 years. Jim's greatest loves in life were his family, playing softball (he pitched a perfect game), classic cars, and spending time with those he loved. Jim took pride in maintaining his property in Aptos as well as his property on Maui. He enjoyed many trips to Hawaii, where he was able to relax and live life to the fullest. He will be missed deeply.

This is my favorite pic with cousin Jim at one of our infamous "Lobster Parties". He was always such a sweet, caring guy. He even thought of my Parker when sharing his collectible comics, because he knew he would like them. I will always remember his smile and kind spirit. He will truly be missed.

My Uncle Jim, I enjoyed every single time I was grateful to come and visit, from you taking the cousins out to show us the beautiful redwoods right in your backyard and taking us on your trail. To coming to my high school volleyball game at Aptos, just shows the type of family man you were and that meant so much to me. You were easily one of the most caring people I’ve ever met and been around and I mean that with everything in me. You handled every challenge thrown at you with the biggest smile and that is beyond inspiring. It’s been such an honor being your niece and this isn’t a goodbye because I know you will ALWAYS be with me in everything I do! Love you more.

Brother Jim... Such a Great Brother, Great Friend and Great Person. Always there to help and 'get it done' throughout my life. We had so many special times, especially our softball teams (Bedlam!), championships and unique brother bonding. Love him so much... Until our next game Brother Jim...

My heart breaks as a huge part of our family is now missing and can never be replaced. I'm honored to have had such a kind, loving and caring person in my life. I will cherish the times we've shared together and will be forever grateful for the memories. Your life has touched all those who knew you, especially mine.
