James A. Mace

James Andrew Mace, 63, of Williamstown, West Virginia passed away August 23, 2018, at his residence. He was born August 27, 1954 in Parkersburg, son of the late Jacob A. Mace and the late Alberta I. Anderson McVety. He graduated from PHS, served in the Air Force, and was in car sales for many years. James is survived by four sons, James E. Mace, Logan Mace, James A. Mace II, Tyler “Bonehead” Mace, daughter Whitney Mace Cunningham, sister Ruther Haney, brother Mike Mace along with six grandchildren Evan and Rome Mace, Brantley and Saylor Mace, Chael and Olivia Mace. He is preceded in death by parents, brother Larry Gene Mace and sister. He enjoyed history, fishing, WVU and Marshall football, along with spending time with family and friends. Memorial services will be held at 2:30pm on September 9, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Capital Drive in Parkersburg with burial to follow at River Hill Cemetery on Blennerhassett Heights Road.
