Loved Ones

Family is always first and never last!

James Brian Ison passed away unexpectedly on July 13, 2025 at the age of 43.   Brian was an amazing loving father, brother, and an awesome friend. He loved his family with all of his heart and would help anyone who needed it.   Brian was surpassed in death by his father James L. Ison and his mother Sondra K. Ison. He is survived by his children Logan Dillion, Lakota Dillion, Luca Dillion, Minnie Ison, Violet Ison, and Emma Ison, his sister Erica (Jessica) Ison, brother David Ison, his long time fiancée Joanne Thompson, and many nieces and nephews.

Brian loved cars, his family, and his friends. He enjoyed watching wrestling and boxing events while drinking his favorite root beer and milk combination. He loved his music and made sure you heard it!

Brian lived his life the best way he knew how. He made sure that his children and family always came first.   Brian will be cremated and later laid to rest with his parents at the Fairview cemetery in Saint Helen Michigan.

My dear Brother now that you are gone You’re no longer here to share The bond we had together – A bond of love and care. Yet, somehow something tells me You are watching over me – Now that from Worldly cares You finally are free. I miss you so very much, And my tears I cannot hide Yet, within my heart, I feel You are always by my side. Ever since you went away Life has never been the same Yet, it comforts me to know That one day we’ll meet again
