Stan and I are so sorry to hear the news of Jack's passing. He and I worked together for a time at LANL. He was truly a wonderful person to work with, so cooperative and always ready to help others. It was always a pleasure to see Jack come into the office. He truly brightened up the day as he often had a story to share with great pride about one of his 'kids'. Betsy and children, you are in our hearts, Stan and Evelyn Schriber.

Jack was a great guy, a classmate of mine in High School and in CSF. We enjoyed hunting trips with both Jack and Greg. Lots and lots of memories through all those intervening years. Elsa and I extend our condolences to Betsy and family.

I became a pen pal to Jack in the fall of '66. Met him in December of that year. He was a very handsome and tall young man. He was kind and soft spoken. We shared some wonderful memories back then. He was a member of my sister's bridal party the following June. On my sister and brother in law's 30th anniversary I contacted Jack for a photo to put in a collage of the bridal party - then and now. He gladly sent a picture of himself and his family. We became email pen pals and then friends on Facebook. I treasured our friendship and was very saddened when he got his cancer diagnosis - shortly after my husband got his. Jack wasn't ready to leave his family and fought hard for the last 12 years. His courage amazed me. My husband was luckier because they found it before it spread. May Jack rest in peace and my sincerest condolences.

My deepest condolences for my cousin Betsy and her family. My mother and I were recalling fond memories of Jack when he worked as a leader for the cub scouts when our boys were younger. Jack always available as the great dad he was for all his family. I can still recall how tall he stood looking so handsome and so personable easy to talk to. The partner ever so ready for his family his shoes can never be filled. He and Betsy made a couple to be envied a love so visible to all who knew them. Always holding hands a steady shoulder for his gal. He will not be forgotten be a use memories are forever.
