Jack Campbell

February 19th, 1944 - January 1st, 2021
John (Jack) Joseph Campbell Jr., age 76, passed away suddenly at his home in Nashville, TN on January 1, 2021. Jack was predeceased by his brother (Charles Cambpell), parents (John and Helen Campbell), and wife (Kathleen Campbell).
Jack was born in Florida on February 19, 1944, and grew up in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Once he graduated from high school, he joined the United States Air Force where he was an Airman First Class. After the Air Force, Jack took a job at Lincoln Tech, and in later years started up his own company, Cam-Tel Media, where he thrived for years as a marketer and salesman.
In 2000, he and his wife Kathy moved to Florida to continue the family business. Jack was a big boat enthusiast, and the Gulf of Mexico and beaches of southwest Florida became his playground. He eventually received his US Coast Guard Master Captain's license and started a side business where he would take tourists on private cruises to see the sights and search for dolphins.
Jack was a family man, and is survived by many members, including his sisters (Constance Tichenor and Lynn Spieker), brothers-in-law (Bill Spieker, Bruce Tichenor, Ted Janas and Bob Janas), sister-in-law (Jean Janas), his 5 children (Kim Campbell, Charles Campbell, Chris Campbell, Katy Reiser and Kara Campbell), and his biggest source of joy, his 10 grandchildren (Fiona Bradley, Liam Bradley, Kaylee Campbell, Rekha van Eijden, Charlie Reiser, Lucas Reiser, Cora Campbell, Lorelei Resier, Jonas Campbell and Hudson Spieker).
Family will be holding an online memorial for Jack on January 16, 2021. More information on the memorial can be found at the following address: https://www.mykeeper.com/event/jack-campbells-online-memorial-service/

The news of Jack's passing has just made it's way to many of the old Cam-Tel gang. We are very sorry for the family's loss and saddened at the passing of Kathy earlier. Most of us are still very much in touch and all are working in video production. I'm saying a prayer for the family and want you all to know what a big impact Jack (and all of you) had on our lives. To this day there are tons of inside jokes that only folks from the early Cam-Tel years would get. We still will ride by the old chicken coop turned office space in Richland when we get the chance. Again, sorry for your loss and I hope you're doing well. I'll be reading "The Death Blow to America" on the beach in Ocean City, NJ this summer! (seriously)

It is very difficult to imagine Jack Campbell gone from us. Jack was my first love, and we married very young & traveled the country with the Air Force for 12 years & he was always a great friend to his pals & very generous to his friends . Jack’s first daughter Kim, was born to him & I. He was a great dad & over the years spent every weekend with him,Kathy & the kids. They have all stayed close over the years & that was very important to Jack. All of the kids spent time working for Jack over the years, I believe. And he sure loved that ! Well, Kathy will be so happy to have Jack by her side up in Heaven ; she is the love of his life ! God Bless both of them , Sincerely, Sandi Pignataro

I have this memory of Jack as the super handsome soldier who swept my sister off of her feet and whisked her across the country when I was about 3 years old. While an entire lifetime has happened since then, my indirect connection to Jack has been maintained through my niece and his first child-Kim. I also remember Jack as a guy who was larger than life and so much fun to be around

I knew Jack through my friend. Nancy. I wish I could have known him several years ago. I can see from his Facebook posts, he was a character. I chuckled at so many things he posted. God Bless You Jack. We all know you are finding peace with our Savior.
