Ivy Chavez, 81, of Ranchos de Taos passed away on January 20, 2007.  She is preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Robinson.  She is survived by her children, Sandra Jones of Taos, Dennis Wood of Ranchos de Taos and Michele Chavez of Las Vegas, NV, sisters in the United Kingdom, grandchildren, Cade and Dax Robinson.

Private family services have been held.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stray Hearts Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 622, Taos, NM  87571.
