For those who had the privilege of knowing Ben, we experienced first-hand his positive spirit, warm sense of humor, and immense dedication to Shepard. Ben had an infectious positive energy that could light up any room. He was the embodiment of our core values - hard-working, compassionate, and a team player to the core. Ben's contributions throughout his tenure left an indelible mark on our organization. He poured his heart into every event he worked on. Ben's dedication to the job and willingness to put in whatever effort was needed to get the event done motivated our entire team. We are forever better because of his years of service. For many of us, Ben was more than just a coworker - he was a close friend. His absence will leave a void, as we'll deeply miss the energy, laughs, and joy he brought into our lives each day. We understand how deeply this impacts our Shepard family and know it is important that we lean on each other during this difficult time. Let's find comfort in the shared memories and the incredibly positive influence Ben had on us all. We understand that many folks have asked about sending the family something during their difficult time…such as flowers, food, letters etc. If you wanted to contribute something for the family, below are some options that they prefer. The below Turning Hearts link gives you access to log in and write a direct message or note to Ben's brother Parker and his mother Sunday. They would love to hear stories about Ben and how he impacted you, or made you laugh. This sort of sharing of stories and information is invaluable to them and would be the most impactful. When you click on the link you will need to create a quick log in, which is just your name and an email address. It is a quick log in. Link: Benjamin Anthony Ciccotti Ben was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at a young age. You never would have known it. Ben carried on about his days as if he had no challenges. If you wanted to donate to the Cystic Fibrosis foundation in Ben's name you can do so. https://www.cff.org/donate Ben loved his dogs. He was very passionate about rescuing and caring for dogs in the community. I began working with Ben around 2014. He was a hoodie-wearing union kid with audacious tattoos, always ready to save my behind whenever I was in Vegas We bonded over those long hours and crazy requests. Over the years, I had the privilege of watching him grow-not just as a co-worker and a leader, but as a remarkable human being. Ben cherished his Shepard family and friends, loved his dogs, and absolutely adored his mom. He took care of everyone onsite, effortlessly blending grumpiness and charm in the same breath. He was the one person you always wanted to work with because he would get the job done and have a lot of fun doing it. We shared a love for food, exchanging recipes and both planning for Thanksgiving a year in advance. He was always excited to get home from a trip because his mom would make his favorite dinner. To say he will be missed is such a small phrase for someone who brought so much joy and dedication to everyone around him. Ben, you will forever be in our hearts.

I was lucky enough to work with Ben on quite a few shows in my 1.5 years since joining Shepard. I remember one particularly challenging move-in we did at McCormick Place. We were going on our 20th hour of work that night and the whole team was running on fumes. Despite this, I remember Ben taking care of our team, making sure we were all fed (and caffeinated), having our backs through obstacles and still being able to make every single team member laugh hysterically throughout. My time knowing Ben, albeit all too brief, reminds me that the greatest leaders among us are the ones who choose humanity and kindness to empower everyone around them. If I end up being half the leader Ben was, I think I'll be in good shape.

Ben's presence was a common thread that connected so many of us within the Shepard family. He brought out the best in us, always quick to offer his support and calming presence. His countless touchpoints on our shows, projects, and lives are a testament to his profound impact. The Ben-sized holes in our hearts remind us of how he filled our lives with friendship, support, and cherished memories. As we grieve, we celebrate Ben's extraordinary spirit. His legacy of kindness and camaraderie will forever endure in our hearts. Ben, you are deeply missed.

I am going to miss my little buddy! He was such a kind, funny, hard-working kid. I always knew no matter what, he would be there making sure the job got done. He was always concerned about how you were doing and truly cared about everyone. Rest well, my friend.

To have had the privilege to know and work with Ben, was a true blessing. He always kept the team on-point, while keeping it lighthearted, always seeing the positive in any situation. Ben was always a highlight of my trips to Vegas, and I looked forward to his stories, back and forth banter and just reconnecting with a friend and all-around great guy. He will be greatly missed by many, but his spirit will live on as he will in our hearts. We will miss you, Ben.
