Harvey Bailey was my much admired brother-in-law. I remember him with a full heart for his love for his sons, the sea, the animals. I remember his courage, zest for life, the happiness his Porsche brought him. He was an amazing chef and made the best chicken cacciatore ever. He was a talented craftsman and seemed to manage his way through anything with his skill and ingenuity along with charm and good spirits. I remember how much my parents enjoyed Harvey (Shirley's mother and step father). Thank you Harvey for the things you taught me. May the wind be at your back. I honor your memory.

I like to express our condolences to your family. Harvey was a great guy. During the mid 1960's, Harvey, Ernie Morgan, me and a few others had Sewer Peak all to ourselves. I did a few dive trips to Mendocino with Harvey and Tony Maggi. Harvey always scored heavy. When I turned 21 in 1964, Harvey and I flew down to San Diego. We had a blast with surf pals at Pacific Beach and finished up the weekend with a spaghetti breakfast at Maynard's Bar before flying back up north. I have many good memories of time spent with your Mom and Dad. All the Best, Dave Sweet
