Hannah Esther Omole

Mama lived an impactful life. She knew as early as age 9 that she wanted to become a nurse; in fact she qualified as a nurse and midwife and won the Nurse of the Year award when she graduated from nursing school! A dedicated life as a nurse included service as a staff nurse, midwife and senior nurse (or 'Sister') in the UK and ultimately hospital matron in Nigeria where she also served as President of the National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives. Mama was a wonderful wife and mother and adored her grandchildren. What a shame her visits with great-grandbaby, Zara, were only virtual; but great fun nonetheless! Mama's church family brought tremendous joy to her life after retirement and there are many stories to share about her charitable and philanthropic work as well as her numerous travels and adventures throughout her life. We miss you so much, Mum! Continue to rest in peace with The Lord. Amen!
