Grey Chafin

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our much‑loved cat, Grey, who was taken too soon while bravely battling Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV). Born in 2013, Grey had a personality exuding affection. Despite being shy around strangers, those who got to know her were aware of her vibrant spirit.

 

Everyone knew Grey as an avid adventurer. Her playful nature included hunting down pom poms and playing with feather wands. She loved following her loved ones from room to room. Her favorite vacation spot was at the head of someone’s bed, where she would experience the comfort of her retirement years. Prior to being taken in, Grey was a loving mother to her many litters. Many may recognize pieces of her personality reflected in the cats she mothered, each shaped by her spirited curiosity and social nature.

 

Her affectionate nature connected her deeply with her family and friends. The love and warmth Grey shared over 13 memorable years will live on in their hearts. Grey will be dearly missed by her parents (Morgan and Nicholas), her kitty bother (Omen), her Chafin family members (Sheila, Michael, Shawn, and Shane), her Rivas family members (Monica, Matthew, Winifred, and Caspian), and many kitty sons and kitty daughters.

 

Her love, grace, and spirit will forever be a part of our hearts.
