Gregory Allen McVey

Gregory Allen McVey, 56, of Vienna, WV born August 27, 1965 went home to be with the Lord on May 1, 2022. Greg grew up in Palestine, WV and moved to Parkersburg. He was a graduate of Parkersburg South High, Class of 1984. Greg loved spending time at the beach with his fiancée. He enjoyed camping and trips to the mountains, along with sports, such as West Virginia Mountaineers Football and the NFL Chargers. He is preceded in death by his parents Doyle McVey and Helen (fm. George) and his sister Sharon Hess (fm. McVey). He is survived by his fiancée Connie Ek, his brother Larry McVey, sister-in-law Rebecca McVey and brother-in-law John Hess, adult daughter Haylee McNalley (fm. McVey), Sharon’s children; Josh and Misty, and Larry’s three daughters Tina, Tara, and Brittney. Donations can be made to the Mid Ohio Valley Cremation Society at 414 Seventh St. Parkersburg WV 26101. Memorial Service is being planned by family and will be announced at a later date. A private cremation will take place at Mid-Ohio Valley Cremation Society.
