Greg Howell

We talk about Greg most weeks and would like to relate a small story that illustrates how he is on our minds. Bob generally tries to measure the rice, polenta, grits or other ingredients at meals because he wants to help with at least this minor activity he can handle. Unfortunately the results are not always accurate. As Dale is correcting the errors in proportioning she never misses the opportunity to say "Greg realizes the need for accurate measurements. He learned that proportioning concrete mixes on the Soleri project in Arizona. The cooks were the best at this. So we all need to follow his example." We will always remember Greg's commitment and enthusiasm about everything he does and, as he did, always try to improve what we do. Thanks Greg for all of your major contributions to design and construction and for setting a great example in everything you do. Bob and Dale Tatum
