As some of you may know, Grant had battled Ulcerative Colitis & Crohns since 18 years old and eventually became addicted to opiates. He fought hard for nearly a decade until early in the morning, on July 18th, my parents and I received phone calls that Grant had passed away.
Words cannot adequately describe the impact he had on so many but we know he will be missed dearly and never forgotten.
Resting with Jesus now, Grant

Grant was a great friend. We met back in 2007, I believe, at Harvest high school group. Whether joking around, hanging with friends, seeing one another's family and being there in difficult times for one another, Grant and I had many good times together. I remember when Grant was diagnosed and began having recurring health issues, visiting him in the hospital, seeing his faith as well as his caring for others still reaching out to see how I and others were doing or what was simply new in our lives. I had also gotten to know the Grossman family, remember many times serving and hanging out with them. Grant will surely be missed.

I had the privilege of being a friend and teammate of Grant's in College. He always had a positive attitude even though he was battling health issues. He always was greatful he got to play basketball as long as he did with his health. The thing I remember most about him though was his passion for Jesus. He was always quick to point others to the source of his strength. I'm sad that you left this earth, but look forward to seeing you in eternity brother!

In my encounters with Grant, I always felt a strong sense of sincerity and love coming from his presence. I’ll forever cherish those memories of him.
