Kyle and Devon have set up this website so they can learn as much about their mother from the perspectives of those who knew her and loved her.
While we appreciate the words of encouragement and condolences, we respectfully ask you to share whatever memories, fun times, moments--big or small, or stories about our mother. It doesn't matter how small it may seem. We want to know who she was to others. How will you remember her? What comes to mind when you think of her? What were her nicknames or things she did that made you laugh or roll your eyes.
If you're on the fence about posting something, please do, we just want to remember our mother as people knew her. We welcome and would so appreciate any photos or videos you have of her that you'd like to share.

I did not know Grace very well but I do know that she was a very kind and genuine person that was welcoming and gracious to me any time I was in her home. Although my partner, David Kawashima, has passed away, I think that he would want me to speak for him to say how much he loved Grace's friendship and humor.. I know if he was still here he would be devastated by her loss. I have much empathy for her family, I know she was very dedicated to them.

I have photos which I can't get onto this site.....as Bill would say I'm technologically challenged!!! Wish I knew how to load the photos!! We first met Grace in 2000 and got to know her through her husband Bill who I have known since kindergarten. Along with some other classmates, we kept in contact through the years and enjoyed get togethers with their significant others. We had small group gatherings for dinners regularly. Grace certainly lived up to her name which is defined by reference to the phrase god's grace. Graces meanings include charm, goodness and generosity. The name is also tied to beauty and joy. Grace was all of the above. She was one of the kindest souls I have met in my liefetime. Her family meant so much to her and brought her so much joy. We will miss Grace dearly and will have a place for her at out table for all our future gatherings but she will be forever in our hearts. Kyle and Devon know that your mom will be beside you watching over your beautiful babies growing up. Out heartfelt condolences and sympathy go out to you and the family.. Much Love, The Hamiltons.

I worked with your mother for 20+ years. Our offices were next to each other for many of those years. Your mom just glowed when she spoke of you two. Her love for you was so obvious. She was fun too! We went on a business trip to Boston one year. Long story short, due to stops for gelato and cannelloni, we missed our flight home and had to stay another night. After a frustrating afternoon, your mom showed up to my room, cocktails in hand, and train info to get us to the best lobster in town. Just like you kids said, she was always thinking of others and loved to have fun! Your mom was really loved at work. We were all saying today, that no matter how stressed she was at work, not once, did she ever snap at any of us. She kept her cool and cussed out the computer instead. My condolences to you two. You are both a beautiful reflection of your mom. God gained a beautiful angel when he came to get your mom. God bless you both and the entire family too of course.

Hi Dev & Ky that’s how your mom refers to you to me. I worked with your mom for 25 yrs. There is not enough space or time on this page for me to describe how much fun we had working with each other. I considered her a close and dear friend I remember you guys as grade schoolers. I remember when Devon got Indiana and she quickly became Grace’s dog… Your mom and I were like Laverne and Shirley we were always into something, trying to help someone while trying to uphold the company values
